Thomas Fiorini

Comfortable playing jazz, pop and classical music, Thomas is in high demand throughout the world and has worked with some of the most famous orchestras and ensembles from around the globe.

During his career, Thomas has been recognised as a hugely talented bassist and has received a number of accolades including the prestigious Outstanding Musician Award from the Syracuse State Jazz Festival.

Alongside this, Thomas has performed with some of the music world’s most iconic artists including Bjork and Siousie Sioux as well as being double bass soloist with the Vlaams Radio Orkest.

During his education Thomas attended Mannes College of Music, New York; Conservatorium Maastricht, Netherlands, and Berklee College of Music, Boston and studied under the guidance of Homer Mensch, Carol Harte, Stuart Sankey, Bruce Bransby, John Shaeffer and Albert Laszlo.

Currently leading the bass section of the Il Novecento Orchestra for the Night of the Proms, European Tour, Thomas is also performing with Universal Music artists Yannick Bovy and Andrei Lugovski.
