Benjamin Moreno

Soon he observed an innate gift for the trumpet and becoming part of the National Youth Orchestra of Spain. Grant from the JONDE moves to The Real Conservatory of Madrid, where, with Jose Ortí, he ends his studies with the Special Superior Honor Award.

He then received master classes with Maurice Andre, Hakan and Pierre Tibeau Hardenberg. He begins their first appearances as a soloist in JONDE, Malaga Symphony, Euskadi, The Filarmonic orchestra of Gran Canaria, Filarmonic Orchestra of Asturias, Queen Sofia Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra of Cadaqués, Chamber Orchestra of J.S. Bach, Moscow Virtuous, Madrid Symphony Orchestra, and collaborations with ONE RTVE. In 1990 achieved the number one in the competition for the place of trumpet soloist in the ORTVE up to it belongs. Since that year, and after making his solo debut at the Theater of Champs Elysees in Paris on the occasion of the bicentenary of the French Revolution, he develops a continuous activity as soloist with orchestra, organ and piano.

Jury member of the prestigious "International Trumpet Course of Toulon (France). He gots a close personal relationship with the great Armenian composer A. Aroutunian, who has perform all his works written for the trumpet. Guest of honor at its 80th anniversary in conjunction with the National Orchestra of Armenia he performed his "Concerto for Trumpet and Orchestra" and "Theme and Variations." He was requested for the preparation of metal section of the National Youth Orchestra of Spain, Andalusia Youth Orchestra, Youth Orchestra of Madrid, Murcia Youth Orchestra, Youth Orchestra of Valencia and the Basque Youth Orchestra also offers courses Master Class and many conservatories in Spain.

Since 2006 is professor of trumpet at the Royal Conservatory of Music Madrid. He has got the award “La corbata de Alfonso X El Sabio ", granted by His Majesty King Don Juan Carlos I. Benjamin Moreno has captivated audiences and critics with his extraordinary sound quality, amazing technique and innate musicality.
